Family History for Children Blog Link Up
I’m excited to announce that I’m hosting the very first “Family History for Children” blog link up. I loved the genealogy blog party by Elizabeth O’Neal at Little Bytes of Life and this is partly inspired by her. Thank you Elizabeth!
Rather than focusing on genealogy in general, I am inviting you to share about the important topic of Family History for Children (ages 0-18). My hope is to add inspirational stories and practical tips to the growing amount of content online about this subject to help families, schools, genealogy societies, and communities make family history for children a priority. Each month I will choose a theme within this topic, like helps for parents, school projects, activities, games, etc.
For our first go around, I want to start with the “why.” Why do you think it’s important to share family history with children? Why do you do it? How did knowing family history as a young person help you?
Go to the link up page for post ideas and instructions for how to join: Why Share Family History With Children Blog Link Up. All the links will be live on March 21, but submissions should be added by the 19th.
Please share with your followers using #FHforChildren. Thank you!
