About Michelle Dickens

Michelle Dickens is a certified genealogist who has been researching her family history since 1998. Her research is primarily in the South, having traced her lines back into the 1700's without yet crossing the pond. While she didn't have aspirations to work as a professional genealogist, she pursued BCG certification to challenge her skills and become a better researcher. She loves presenting and educating not only on genealogy, but on science and medical topics in her "real job", as a nurse practitioner now working for a pharmaceutical company as a medical educator. She and her husband enjoy taking cruises and spending time with their four children and ten-year old grandson.
